Pogo, formerly known as Blue Zones Project Pottawatomie County, a Certified Blue Zones Community, is a collaborative community effort to achieve and sustain measurable health improvements to help everyone in our community to“Live a little. Longer.”

In June 2020, Avedis Foundation, Sharecare, Inc. and Blue Zones, LLC announced that Pottawatomie County had achieved certified Blue Zones Community® status. After two years of deepening community relationships and developing a plan for long-term, local impact, Blue Zones Project evolved to become Pottawatomie go, or “Pogo.” This is a result of the commitment Avedis Foundation has to the health, wellness, and quality of life of our area.
