About the event
Sleep affects how we think, work, and show up for one another — yet it’s often the first thing sacrificed in our busy schedules. That’s why we’re bringing together leaders from across Pottawatomie County for a Sleep Health Luncheon during National Sleep Awareness Week.
Join Asim Maqsood, MD, a sleep medicine physician with SSM Health, for a practical discussion on sleep and its role in our mental and physical health. Dr. Maqsood will cover why sleep matters, common sleep disorders, and how sleep impacts hormones, heart health, mood, immunity, and daily performance.
This luncheon will also introduce the Pottawatomie County Sleep Challenge (March 8–21), a countywide effort to help residents build healthier sleep habits.
Lunch will be provided, courtesy of Pogo. Seating is highly limited and RSVP is required.
We hope you’ll join us for this important community conversation!
