On Monday, November 18th we celebrated the publishing of the largest Community Health Needs Assessment completed in the state of Oklahoma! Not only is this a win for collaboration and partnerships, but it’s also a win because this data helps leaders in Pottawatomie County understand the needs of our community better! This effort was led by a dedicated task force including Absentee Shawnee Tribal Health System, Avedis Foundation, Community Renewal of Pottawatomie County, Gateway to Prevention & Recovery, Legacy Parenting Center, SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital, the Pottawatomie County Health Department, and the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, and the Hudson College of Public Health. Yesterday partners and stakeholders from philanthropy, business, education, nonprofits, healthcare and the faith community got to hear your feedback for the first time and you can view those findings here. We appreciate all that attended and more importantly everyone that banded together to help us better!
