Welcome to Pogo!

Pogo, formerly known as Blue Zones Project Pottawatomie County, a Certified Blue Zones Community, is a collaborative community effort to achieve and sustain measurable health improvements to help everyone in our community,

“Live a little. Longer.”

In June 2020, Avedis Foundation, Sharecare, Inc. and Blue Zones, LLC announced that Pottawatomie County had achieved certified Blue Zones Community® status. After two years of deepening community relationships and developing a plan for long-term, local impact, Blue Zones Project evolved to become Pottawatomie go, or “Pogo.” This is a result of the commitment Avedis Foundation has to the health, wellness, and quality of life of our area.

Over the coming months we will be doubling down on connecting with health improvement efforts throughout our community. In the meantime, let’s stay connected! Follow us on social media!
